Great scope for redesign thanks to dynamic lighting

At the end of 2013, the Ducal Museum in Gotha was opened after 3 years of extensive renovation, including a completely new lighting installation.

Opened in 1879, the museum was originally built by Duke Ernst II of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in the neo-Renaissance style. The extensive renovation work affected many areas and also enabled the installation of a modern lighting system.

In the exhibition rooms, form.h44 lighting structures are used, equipped with control.x tracks and indirect light outlets. The indirect linear LED modules brighten up the ceiling areas and create a holistic sense of space. Thanks to the lighting control options, the room impression can be adapted to the daytime situation.
In the track, which can be controlled via DALI, gin.o 2 spotlights are operated with LEDs. Where necessary, these are used as contour spotlights for precise illumination. In this way, exhibits are given a contoured, precisely fitting lighting presentation.

This very dynamic lighting also opens up great scope for redesigning the exhibition, especially in the area of cyclically changing exhibitions.
