New uniform and efficient facade lighting at the media harbor Düsseldorf

The malthouse, which is over 120 years old, is an industrial monument in Düsseldorf’s media harbor. With its historical character, the facade stands out in the modern media harbor. The interior of the building was gutted and renovated for new use as loft-style office space.

Previously, the malthouse was illuminated by 02M series projectors with a metal halide lamp. These were replaced by contemporary and energy-saving LED lighting from the same series. In addition, the narrow beam lighting of the time was replaced by wide, flat and homogeneous illumination. There is a restaurant in the lower area, so the lights were installed on the first floor so as not to disturb the guests.
With the 02M projector, surfaces, buildings and objects can be perfectly illuminated. Using highly efficient LED modules, the luminous flux is directed specifically to the usable area via precise lenses. The good glare protection underlines the high level of comfort. This series of lights is available on request in RGBW and can be ordered with both DALI and DMX control as standard.
